Viper Sniper
Do you know what a Viper is? The Viper is a fast car owned only by the rich and giving. Whoever wants to be one of the hundreds to own the Viper then they better get to work and start a savings account. The Viper GTS-R, an extremely fast car, is extraordinary because of its unique design and value.
The history of the Viper
The goal of the team that designed the Viper was all about performance. Chrysler needed a halo car to show that they were still the best at building a low cost car of any type. Chrysler and the Lamborghini team worked on the Viper and their goal was to get it up from zero to 100 mph and back down in fifteen seconds.
Physical Features
The Viper is one of the most “beasty” looking cars that have ever been made. In December 1991, the first viper was made in red. It started off with an av-8 engine and finally made it with an av-10 aluminum10 engine. The viper has a 709 horse power and a 729 pound – feet of torque with a six speed manual transmission that has a triple clutch plate. The viper
GTS-R’s top speed is somewhere 210 mph. It goes from zero to sixty in 3.1 seconds. Finally In 1993 they used a black color for the viper. In 1994, they made a yellow and emerald green also for the viper.
Modern viper
Today people around the world look at the Dodge viper as an amazing car. Every Dodge viper is hand made at a Special Detroit, Michigan car factory. Factory workers have to have 300 hours of training each in order to make a viper. The viper is used in races like the Daytona and the Le Mans. These races are twenty four hour sports car endurance races. The Dodge viper won the overall title In Daytona international 1999. The viper won by thirty seconds.
The viper is known for its incredibly fast speed. There are some places were it is illegal to drive a viper because of speed limit laws. Some might buy one not for speed but for popularity and fame. Besides, they look cool. The viper GTS-R is an awesome car and is very expensive, but who wouldn’t want to own one?
